We know adequate housing is fundamental to building stronger families and improved health outcomes.
We also know that 21.5% of homes across New Zealand are affected by dampness, nearly 17% have visible mould, and almost 1 in every 9 people live in overcrowded conditions.
Something as simple as hanging a pair of curtains can make a big difference to the lives of the families we work with. We provide practical support to help keep families warm and dry and to help them have a healthier home.
Volunteer
Volunteers are the heart of Habitat for Humanity New Zealand. Each year, thousands of people volunteer in a variety of different ways, all helping us in our mission to provide Kiwis with warm and healthy homes.
